Covid Poster

There are two important messages that are trying to be communicated constantly all around the world:
Wash Your Hands & Stay Home
The government and health organizations are largely responsible for trying to visually communicate this information and they are kind of busy right now with the whole Global Pandemic, Economic Disaster stuff- you know. So the designs are a little lackluster. I've been browsing and noted that most look like this:

It can be really hard to get people's attention and communicate a specific message. I think you guys can do better than these examples. Your target audience is yourself and your peers. So design the posters in a way that will appeal to them. Imagine the posters might appear on an instagram post if you want- it can even be a square instead of rectangular.

Technology
Well, this is tricky because you all have access to different tech. Use a combo of whatever you have at hand. There are great apps for editing and combing images on your phones, font sites, websites and also if you have a computer I'll remind you of Affinity Photos and their free trial. Let me know if you get stuck and can't figure out how to technically achieve what your design requires. I'll try to help.

What does the poster need to look like?
The goal is for it to combine photographs, shapes, colors, and text like the designs of Cristiana Couceiro and Zeka Design.

Check out those links and then google more of their design work. Focus on designs that have words along with the photos and shapes.
Select one of the designer's posters and copy the layout replacing your own photos, texts, and colors. Remember- we learn by first mimicking and copying layouts.
You will submit the design that you based your layout on along with your completed poster so I can see that you followed the professional designer layout.

TEXT
Select either 'Wash Your Hands' or 'Stay Home' as your topic. You must include those words. You can have other words as well, but you don't need to.

PHOTOS
Select Photographs (check out all the free image sites we visited for the radial design project) that are interesting and not obvious. Lean towards artistic instead of basic. I'd be more drawn to a photograph of racoon hands than normal human hands (I'm weird though so it's your choice). Also- you don't need to include a photo of hands for handwashing or a house for stay at home. Use your creativity!

SHAPES, LINES, ILLUSTRATIONS
Include other bits and pieces of things like the two designers do.

COLORS
Select interesting color combos. Avoid the obvious.
